[Reuter’s Telegrams.] San Francisco, November 4, Arrived yesterday—P.M.S. Australia, with the Homeward mails, dated Auckland, Oct. 14th. London, November 5. The Homeward mails, via Suez and Brindisi, from Melbourne (September 23), were delivered here yesterday. In the House of Commons last night the Address-in-Reply was again under discussion, and was finally agreed to. The House of Comnions has passed a resolution giving precedence to the consideration of the Franchise Bill during the current month. New York, November 5. The contest for the Presidency between Blaine and General Cleveland is proving very close, and the result if considered very uncertain. Serious rioting has occurred in Cincinnati over the election, and several p ersons have been killed and wounded. Cairo, November 5. The Mudir of Donogla has been created a Knight Commander of the Order of St. Michael and St. George. The ceremony of investure was performed by General Lord Wolsely to-day at Donogla.
