[Per United Press Association,] Dunelin, November 5. The Wesleyan District Session commenced yesterday. Present: The Revs. Berry, Rishworth, Smalley, Thomas, Martin, Smith, Griffin, Murray, and Buttle. A number of men temporarily employed at railway and other works about Dunedin, have been discharged, and as they consider their discharge premature, harvest being so far off, they will likely hold a mass meeting this week.
