ORMOND.

(From an Occasional Correspondent). At the Qlose of ft very interesting communion service, at Ormond, on Sunday afternoon last, Mr. John Wallace rose, and said that he had a pleasing duty to perform in reading an address and presenting a testimonial to Rev. J. McAra. In the address which was read tsstimony was borne to the diligent and faithful manner in which Mr. McAra had discharged his pastoral duties to the residents in and beyond Ormond, for over five yearn, and the wish was expressed that he might be long spared to labour in the Gospel with growing success. The address was accompanied with a cheque for £2O 9s. In replying, Mr. McAra tendered his heartiest thanks to Mr. Wallace and the subscribers for the kind address read, and the very handsome testb monial accompanying it. He had endeavored to do his duty to the best of his ability, and he had always been kindly received by the residents in and around Ormond. He valued the gift—but more the spirit in which it WM given, and he hoped that in the future as in the past, the same kindiv feelings might prevail between pastor ana people, and he prayed that his ministrations in the Gospel might be greatly blessed to the spiritual good of many. There was a large congregation and the service all through was hearty and profitable.
