Moore (Humphries.) 83— Best Set of Heavy Horse Shoes, 10s. R. Moore (Humphries.) LEAPING MATCH 64—A prize of L 5 was offered to the horse that cleared the highest bar, not less than four feet from the ground. There were five entries for this class. The jumping was anything but good, only two clearing the bar at 4ft. Bin. The prize was awarded to J. Dunlop’s Able Heart. 85—A prize of L 5 was offered for the horse that was best over three jumps, hedge, ditch, and hurdle, list. up. A prize to the best Horseman of the best pipe in shop, presented by Mr. James Browne. Five horses entered for this contest and showed some very fair jumping; those, however, which displayed the aptitude for fences did not seem to approve of the water jump, and vice versa. The award made, Dainty, 1; Jack, 2 ; did not meet with general approval, judging by public comment, although we must confess there was some difficulty in deciding the matter.
