During the afternoon sitting yesterday Mr. Pyke raised a laugh by drawing attention to tho difficulty of finding the way home late at night, owing to the streets not being lighted, and asking whether the Government would mane arrangements for lighting the lamps on dark nights, or would provide members with lanterns.

Other members also spoke of the difficulty experienced in finding the way home, and one member characterised the Wellington Corporation as the meanest in New Zealand. The Premier said it was not a proper matter to bring before the House.
