[Per United Press Association.] Wellington, October 16. The Chairman of the Early Closing Association was fined one shilling yesterday, with costs, for holding a demonstration in front of a non-closing draper’s shop. Christchurch, October IG. She will be followed at regular monthly intervals by her sister White Star Liners, the lonic and Doric, and two new built steamships, Altira and Tainui, built specially for this trade by William Denny and Bros., Dumbarton.
