WELLINGTON JOCKEY CLUB. [Own Correspondent.] Wellington, October 2. The Wellington Jockey Club intend holding a one day’s Spring Meeting. The day fixed is the Wednesday preceding the Wellington Racing Club’s Spring Meeting. Between £4OO and £5OO will be given in stakes. The same club will hold a two days’ Summer Meeting in February, when the stakes will amount to £i ,250. Both meetings will take place on the new course at Island Bay.
