The Late Father Forest.
[Own Correspondent.] Napier, October 2. The funeral of the late Father Forest took place yesterday afternoon. At the ceremony in the church a very impressive sermon was preached by Father Lauzeau, who gave a historical sketch of the deceased priest. The body was then removed to the cemetery, the procession being nearly half-a-mile long. All the shops in town were closed while the procession passed.
