Dairy Co’s. v. Frozen Meat.
[Own Correspondent.] Dunedin, September 29. The annual meeting of the Otago Meat Freezing and Produce Company was held on Saturday. The Directors reported having secured a site for their works, <fcc., but considered a policy of inaction advisable in the present aspect of the frozen meat trade. They, however, recommended establishing butter and cheese factories. The meeting adopted the recommendation, provided guarantees were obtained from farmers for the supply of milk’at a satisfactory price.
