(Per Press Association.) Auckland, September 24. David Alexander Adams, a laboring man employed on the ship Triumph, on going home to dinner yesterday, cut his throat very severely. He was taken to the hospital, and is likely to recover. Nelson, September 24. Harry Nelson, aged 19, employed in the Colonist office, and who was a member of the Naval Brigade, shot himself on Monday night but whether accidentally or intentionally is not known. He was in good spirits before his death, and there appears to have been no motive for suicide.
