A.J.C. SPRING MEETING. [Reuter’s Telegrams.] Sydney, September 4. The third days’ racing at the Australian Jockey Club’s Spring Meeting took place at Randwick to-day. The following are the results of the principal events :— Grand Stand Plate, 1J miles. Paul 1 Boscowan .. .. .. 2 Omadhoun .. .. .. 3 Time, 3mins. 12|secs. Ten horses started. Craven Plate, lj miles. Sir Modred .. .. .. 1 Malua 2 Off Color 3 The winner led all the way. Time, 2mins. lOJsecs. Cargo also started. Second Foal Stakes of 1884,1| miles. Tempe 1 Tremando 2 Manrico.. 3 Four starters. The winner led from start to finish, and won by a length. Time 2mins. 14£secs. Sydney Handicap, II miles. Merlin 1 Friendship 2 Little Sister .. .. .. 3 This was a splendid race. Thirteen horses faced the starter. Time, 2mins. 39secs.
