Nelson Copper Mines.
[Per Press Association.] Nelson, September 5. At a meeting of the directors of the Champion Cnpper Company yesterday it was resolved to order at once from Fraser and Chalmers, of Chicago, one 30-ton water jacket smelter, and also to lay a tramway line from the mine to the smelting site. The company expect to be smelting in six months hence. The main shaft will be completed this month to a distance of 150 feet.
