Franco-Chinese War.
ENGAGEMENT AT FOO CHOW. (reuter’s telegrams.) Hong Kong, August 25. Intelligence is to hand that the French ironclads engaged the Chinese forts at the mouth of the Foo Chow river to-day. After two hours cannonade the ships retired.
