Hawthorn, who was sentenced to death for the murder of his brother, William Hawthorn, at Brighton, on the 21st March last, was executed to-day. Sydney, August 22. Arrived, yesterday, the Hauroto, from Wellington. In the Legislative Council last night after debate the Crown Lands Bill was read a second time without division.
