The Tonquin War.
[Reuters Telegrams,] London, July 16. The Times to-day announces that China has rejected the demand of France for indemnity on account of the Langron affair, and that war between the two countries is believed to be inevitable. Paris, July 16. No information of the rejection, by the Chinese Government, of the French demand for indemnity on account of the Langron affair has yet been published here, and the report to a contrary effect in the London Tinies to-day, is positively stated to be without foundation.
