The Elections.
Mr. Talbot has retired from the contest for the Waimea. Mr. Wastney issues an address and will contest that seat. Mr. Brodie, Chairman of the Thames County Council, is the opponent to Mr. Cadman for the Coromandel seat. Mr. W. H Watt addressed the electors at Wanganui last night. A vote of thanks and .confidence was lost. We have received the following from private sources “ Mr. Gannon addressed the electors at Kawakawa last night, and received a unanimous vote of confidence, Mr. Hobbs was present.”
