GRATIFYING RECOGNITION. [Per Press Association.] Wellington, July 4. The Secretary of State for the United States writes to New Zealand, that it is the intention of the American Government to present a gold watch and chain, to both Captain Gray, of the Stella, and Captain Greig of the Kekino, in recognition of their services in rescuing the crew of the American vessel Sarah Hunt at the Auckland Islands.
