[Reuter’s Telegraks.] CRICKET.—AUSTRALIANS U. PLAYERS OF ENGLAND. London, July 2. The cricket match, at Sheffield, between the Australians and Players of England was concluded to-day, resulting in a victory for the visitors by six wickets. The weather was again splendid and the number of spectators on the ground very large. The home team, with two wickets down for 89 runs resumed their second innings, which closed for 134. The Australians, requiring 175 runs to win the match, commenced their second innings, and scored 178 with the loss of four wickets, thus winning by six wickets; Bonnor, 95, and Bannerman, 48, being both not out.
