[Reuter’s Telegrams.] CRICKET.—AUSTRALIANS V. CAMBRIDGE. London, June 17. A match between the Australian Team and an eleven of Cambridge University was commenced at Cambridge to-day. The following are the names of the local team :—Mansfield, Smith, J. E. K. Studd, Pararicine, Topham, Turner, Wright, Bambridge, Dreatoree, Rock and Marchant. The home team went in first, and were all out for 204. The highest scorers were—Bambridge, c, 61; Studd, 59 ; Marchant, c, 34. The visitors in the first innings had put together 122 for the loss of four wickets when the stumps were drawn. McDonnell was bowled for 25 ; Murdoch (not out) 45. The weather was fine during the day, great interest being taken in the match.
