(reuter’s telegrams.) London, April 16. The threatened strike of coal-workers in England has collapsed. THE LATE PRINCE LEOPOLD. April, 17. A letter in reference to the recent death of the Duke of Albany, has been addressed by the Queen to Sir Wm. Vernon Harcourt in the course of which Her Majesty thanks all her subjects for their loyal sympathy in her bereavement, and states that despite her deep sorrow at the death of Prince Leopold, she will continue to labor for the good of her country, and prosperity of her people.
