(reuter’s telegrams.) UNIVERSITY BOAT RACE. London, April 7. The Inter-University boat race to-day was won by the Cambridge crew. Arrived at Plymouth—The steamships Garonne, from Melbourne; Doric, from Lyttelton. The cargoes of both vessels are believed to be in good condition. HER MAJESTY’S VISIT TO GERMANY. April 8, morning. It is announced that the Queen has decided to adhere to her intention of visiting Hesse Darmstadt of Germany, and Her Majesty’s departure is now fixed for Monday next, 14th instant. THE REFORM BILL. In the House of Commons last night the Electoral Reform Bill, providing for uniform qualification throughout the three Kingdoms, was. after further discussion, read a second time on a division by a majority of 120. The Parnellites voted with the Government. Homeward mails, via Suez and Brindisi, from Melbourne, February 28, were delivered here to-day.
