The prisoner Williams has been found guilty of the murder of Elizabeth Phillips, the victim of the Wooloomooloo outrage, and has been sentenced to death. THE EMBEZZLING MANAGER. Melbourne, March 19. R. B. Fletcher, the mining manager of Sandhurst, who was recently arrested on a charge of embezzlement, has been committed for trial. DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT. Adelaide, March 19. Both Houses ef the South Australian Parliament were dissolved to-day. The general elections are fixed to take place during April. DESTRUCTIVE FIRE—£SO,OOO LOSS. Brisbane, March 19. A destructive fire occurred last night at Howard Smith’s wharf, which, with the adjacent warehouses and other buildings, was destroyed. It is estimated that the losses amount to over £50,000.
