As yet he has not arranged for any matches with Australian oarsmen, and intends to give a rowing exhibition throughout the Colonies. Hanlan will visit New Zealand on his return, and will give similar exhibitions at various places. CRICKET. Adelaide, March 17. The cricket match between the Australian Eleven and Fifteen of South Australia was resumed here on Saturday, when the Australians continued their first innings, which closed for a total of 268, The home team in their second innings put together a total of 189. The Australians then commenced their second innings and when play was stopped had scored 112 without the loss of any wickets. The match was thus drawn, the total scores being :—Local team, 260 and 189—449 : Australians, 268 and 112—380. The Australians subsequently sailed for England in the s.s. Sutlej.
