The New Zealand Shipping Co.’s chartered Steamer Fenstanton discharged, in six days, 2,300 tons, and took in 1,000 tons of coal, 6,400 bales of wool, and 8,450 carcases of frozen mutton. She sails to-day for London. Lyttelton, Feb. 29. Five of the Sarah W. Hunt’s crew went North to*day, en route for America. The Auriga, barque, arrived to*day from Glasgow. She reports having successfully tried oil-bags to allay rough seas. Some of the directors of the New Zealand Shipping Co. are passengers by the Wairatapa to Auckland, to be present at the dinner On the Ruapehu. Arrived: Orawaiti, from Westport, and Aurega, from Glasgow. Sailed : the Wairarapa, far North, and the H&uroto, for Sydney.
