LICENSING COMMITTEE.
The following gentlemen have been nominated for members of the Licensing Committee for the Borough of Gisborne for the ensuing year nominee. proposed by seconder. J. Townley S. M. Wilson G. Humphries H. Lewis O. Smith J. H. Aislabie M. Hall W. Page H. McKay. G. Humphries W. Finneran J. Cresswell E. K. Brown J. Bourke J. W. Nolan J. Tutchen W. O. Skeet H. McKay T. Chrisp 0. Smith H. C. Boylan The election will take place on Saturday next, when the first five gentlemen securing the highest number of votes will be declared elected. Wednesday next, the 20th inst., at Makaraka, is the day appointed for receiving nominations for the Gisborne District, and for the Portutahi District on Thursday week, at the School-house, Portutahi.
