•—s’O.'— Ohibv Post Officb, Gisborne For Napier, Wellington, and South : also the Austral, sian Colonies, per the To Anau, on Saturday Oct. 13th at 3.80 p.m. For Auckland and Sydney, per Tarawera on Saturday, Oct. 13th at 7 p.m. . The next inward San Francisco mail is due at Gisborne on Friday Oct. 19th. This mail left London on Sept. 6th. For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asia, Africa, America and West Indies via San Francisco also the Sandwich Islands, on Friday, November 2nd at 3 p.m. Money orders may be obtained and letters registered until 2 p.m. same day. This mail will be due in London on the 17th Dec. .1888. The next steamer of the P. and O. Company leave* Melbourne on Oct. 25th. Correspondence specially sc> addressed and prepaid the Brindisi rates of postage, ▼ls., eightpenoe per half-ounce, will be forwarded by every opportunity. Note—Money orders should be obtained, and etter registered one hour before the time of closing any Mail. The letter receiving boxes at Mr East’s upper store and Mr McKay’s store, ar? cleared daily at noon ; and ons hour before the advertised time of closing seaborne mails at the Post Office. J.
