The “Otago Daily Times” of September 20th, says :—The return lawn tenuis match between Messrs Daragville and McDonald (Auckland) and Mr H. McNeil, junr., and Dr Batchelor (Dunedin), which was arranged to take place yesterday, has unfortunately falle i through. The cause is an accident to Mr McDonald, which although not serious in its If, has so far crippled him as to render athletics impossible for a short time to come.
