(from our own correspondent.) MELBG URNE, Thursday, At the sale of stud sheep yesterday, oue of Air John Cumming’s four-tooth rams by Lustre, was sold lor 350 guineas, to Mr. S. F. Gumming. in the Legislative Assembly this evening Air Service announced that arrangements lor a meeting of the Inter-colonial Convention ou the Annexation question were finally settled, uud that the Convention would hold its first meeting in Sydney at the end of November. Sentence of death which has passed upon the prisoner Burns who has been found guilty of the murder of Michael Quiulivan at VV ickcliffe in 1&80, has been confirmed. SYDNEY, Thursday. A proclamation has been issued to-doy, summoning the New South Wales Parliament to meet for despatch of business on October 9th.
