I have delayed doing so until I was in a position to, in my opinion, thoroughly refute the charges made. I only acquired the necessary data last Saturday, hence the delay in replying. I have asked His Worship for d “ Board of Enquiry" upon thismd other matters connected with my department, the result of which you will be put in possession of. I may state the cost for building the shed, and extras, as published by you were entirely erroneous, the correct amounts will be forwarded by schedule to the Council.
