Fortuna’s sweep for £l,OOO on the Hawkes Bay Guineas appears in another column, particulars of which can be found there. This sweep has been got up by a well known sporting gentleman of Hastings, Mr J. T. Wood. This being the case, we may safely say that it will prove a real and genuine speculation to investors. There are thiitythree nominations, and the race will be run on the 9th of October next.
