THE BROMLEY CASE.

Mb E. P. Joyce, feeling dissatisfied at the manner in which the Bromley case had been “ fixed up," and sympathising strongly with the plaintiff, displayed the same in his usual practical manner. The way in which Mr Joyce has taken up this matter does him the greatest credit and honor, and proves him to be, what his immediate friends have always known, a warm-hearted aud generous friend. He has been untiring in his exertions in this deserving cause, aud has succeeded in obtaining the following donations which enabled him to hand over to Mrs Bromley yesterday aiternoou a cheque for £4O

£1 13s was expended in sundry expenses of collection, &c. The liberality of the public in subscribing so generously in aid of Mrs Jane Bromley is a clear proof of their discrimination as to the merits of this shameful case, which the public will shortly hear more of, and when we hope justice wid have its course.
