Sir, —I read a paragraph in last nights “ Herald,” with the regard Rev, Kerehona Pituroaka stated my remarks unbecoming. Thia is not true. I wish to ask your contemporary to get a more truthful correspondent for the future. The facts are just ths reverse of those stated. He was so excited at my remarks that he actually walked out of the house, stating as an excuse, that he was called for his dinner. The chiefs all crying out “he is frightened.”—l am, &c., 8. D. Taiwhanga. Gisborne, July 16th, 1888.
