N.Z.L.S. COMPANY’S BILL.

Possible Rejection of the same. [BY TELEGRAPH.] (From our own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The N.Z.N.L.S. Company's Bill is the principal political subject of discussion. The general opinion is it will not be admitted into the House, the committee having reported against several clauses as contradictory to preamble. The question comes on at the opening of the House to-morrow.

On the 30th ultimo Mr DeLautour laid on the table a letter re Pouawa Block explanatory of Judge Hoale's memo, of whom it is generally condemnatory. It is a wellconcocted lawyers letter, but incorrect as to the transactions. Mr. Tally has given notice of motion for the Government to resume the right of preemption, and the Companys dealing is likely to cause further legislation in that, direction.
