BAND OF HOPE.
A meeting of the above; was held last night in the Wesleyan Church. Mr Lewis was called to the chair, Several gentlemen addressed the meeting, and a number of new members (about 50) were enrolled. The meeting was a most enjoyable and happy one, being both entertaining and instructive. Mr Lewis, who is always foremost in any movement tending to the well-being aud inst uction of the young, was most indefatigable in his endeavors to make the meeting entertaining.
