THE “STANDARD" SUPPLEMENT.
lx our wsakly supplement, published tomorrow, will be commenced an Australian story “Harry Bloomfield; or, the Adventures of an Early Australian Squatter,” by McLean. It is the work of a Colonial writer, who, in addition to being possessed of a facile pen, has vidently had targe experience, and Is thoroughly conversant with the subject he bo ably handles. The story is full of romantic incidents, and situations which are graphically described, and, which we feel aasured, will please and interest our readers. Mr McLean is a rising young author who is rapidly making a name for himself in the ranks of Colonial literature, and we feel assured that this, his latest production, will be found to equal, or even surpass his previous efforts.
