A stoppage occurred on Tuesday, owing to fracture of th* band wheel shaft; a naw one was speedily made, and work resumed. The pipe* are going down easily, and perfectly plumb. Messrs G. Stubbs, D. Isles, Reid, Glynn, and Banbury have just returned from th* Company’s works, and express themselves ss being highly pleased at the progress mads.
