“ The American Watch Company of Waltham, Mass., will shortly issue movement number 2,000,000.” According to the Jewel levs’Circular and Horological Review it is “ an Appleton, Tracey and Co., four pairs, stem winder, friction hand setter, quick train, pocket regulator, and will be the first watch in the world bearing such a number.”
