It is understood that further applications have been received for small amount of the unallotted balance of the Victorian loan. The English, Scottish, Australian Chartered Bank has declared a dividend of 4( per cent for the past half-year, and carried £lO,OOO to the reserve. The tenders for the one million four per K cent, loan, for New Zealand, were opened today. The total amount offered was found to be one million five hundred and twenty thousand pounds, at prices ranging from a minimum of 98} to 101. Tenders at ninety eight and nine sixteenths, will receive allettmeht to the extent of 78 per cent. Tenders above ninety eight nine-sixteenths will receive in full.
