This latter supplies a 1 want long felt, and one which we are pleased to see has at last been undertaken by a ' gentleman well fitted to carry it out sue ! cessfully, Mr Johnston will also make ad- [ vances on all local produce for London, American or Colonial Ports. Of Mr John- | stou’s personal character it is almost need- ! less to speak as he has lived amongst us for a number of years, during M’hich time his ; integrity, business knoM’lcdgc, as well as his i obliging disposition, has earned for him the , respect and good will of all M’ith m hoin he has been borught into’contact. Mr Johnston in commencing business for himself will i have the good M'ishes of very many others i in addition to ourselves.
