A young lady w r ho resides at Lake Preston, Dakota, has lately created quite & fnrore among the eligible young men of the neighborhood by an advertisement in a local newspaper, She says—“l mean business. If the re is any young man in this country that i. is as much sand i n him as a pound of plug tobacco, I want to hear from him. I have tree claim and homestead, and am a good cook and not afraid to work, and willii xto do my part. If any man with a like amount of land, and decent face and carcase, wants a good wife, I can fill the bill.”
