The sailing match to-day was scarcely successful, the only two boats competing being the ( Gertrude (sailed by Mr W. Gray), and the Alert (sailed by Mr H. Boylan). It was late when the boats got away, but the latter shortly after the start appeared to have the best of it. The Gertrude is, however, the favorite.
