TRUST COMMISSIONER'S COURT.
Tins Day. (Before M. Price, Esq., Trust Commissioner.) Matawhero No. I.— Philip Bond v. Read’s Trustees.- Mr Rees and Mr Ward for Read’s Trustees ; Mr Kenny and Mr Robinssii for Mr Bond. James Carroll, sworn, deposed; I have never interpreted between W i Haronga and Mr Rond on this matter or any other. I know nothing whatever of this particular matter. I was attending the session of Parliament from May. 1880, to the end of Sept. 1880. I never interpreted between Bond and Wi Haronga respecting the deed produced, dated the 9th September, 1880. After hearing counsel on both sides, the Trust Commissioner decided to give his certificate to both parties on the 14th inst., in order that they might go to a higher Court for adjudication on legal points. Whataupoko.- -Kate Gannon v. N.Z.L. S.Co.—Mr Rees for plaintiff; Mr Brassey Robinson for defendant. Mr Brassey put in a deed of covenant between W. L. Rees, Wiremu Pere and Riperata Kahutia on the one part and Kate Wyllie on the other part, dr,ted 3rd April, 1880, and a deed of conveyance from VVm. Lee Rees, as solicitor for Michael Joseph Gannon and Kate Gannon, to Wiremu Pere and Riperata Kahutia of the interest of the former in the Whataupoko block, dated 9th Sept., 1830, both documents having been duly registered. After hearing counsel on both sides, the Trust Commissioner decided to adjourn the case (for the production of a deed now in course of execution) until to-morrow morning, at 9.30.
