The favorites for doubles now on are Sting, Navigator, Sweet Wiliam and Cunnamulla. Segenhoe is now up to 7 to 2, and 4to 1 is wanted. A considerable amount of money haa been invested on Sting at 8 to 1. Tralninr Notes. There was a large turn out on the training ground thia morning, most of the horsee did three-quarter pace work. Guesswork was going very strong Inside the course. Frying Pan, Savanaka, Segenhoe and Prometheus were doing steady work, evidently preparing tor the great trial. Lord Burghley and Jessie went twice round the course, the filly pleasing greatly by her exeelleat form. Cunnamulla, Sardonyx, Darebin, Bagot and Stockwell did good useful work. (Received Oct. 24, 1.40 p.m,} Branchs's stable appears very sweet about the ohanee of Mistaken for the Cup, 100 to 4 is taken. Little Jack, from the same stable, appears most in favor with tho publio however, and has boon booked for thousands at 100 to 19. 100 to 12 is taken freely about Sting, and he haa been backed for thousands at 9to 1. Mr Rouse, hie owner, offered to bet a level thousand that ho beats both Little Jack and Miatakan. For the Derby Navigator is now firmer than ever at oto 4; Segenhoe, 100 to 25 taken and offererd ; Guesswork, 100 to 10 is offered. A large oommiaoioa has been executed about Boollsa at 100 to 8.
