Malting bai ley is steadier at 5s 4d ; wheat has declined to 6s 6d for shipping, and prices are barely maintained The market for New Zealand oats is very quiet, and prices have declined 2d per bushel during the week ; feeding qualities are now worth 4s 3d to 4s 4d, and milling qualities, 4s 4d to 4s 6d. This Day. At the wool sale yesterday Messrs. Goldsborough and Co. (limited), catalogued 5,000 bales. There was again a crowded attendance of home and foreign buyers, and active competition was experienced. Greasy wool ranged from 10$d to iOfd ; scoured realised up to 21 d for best Quality. Preparations are being made here for giving a suitable welcome to the Australian cricketers on their return from England.
