New Zealand wheat, has fallen 3d per bushel during the week, and is now quoted 5s ; New Zealand oats, remain at 3s 9d ; maize, has fallen to 5s ud ; Sugar Co.’s No. 1 prices per ton, £35. Exceptionally heavy storms of rain have been experienced in the southern portion of this Colony. In Richmond River district the rain fall during last night amounted to six inches. The ship Northampton, 1161 tens, bound for this port with immigrants, has struck on a reef off Port Hacking, and is now being towed into Botany Bay in a leaking state. MELBOURNE, Oct. 21. A moderate rainfall is now general throughout V’ictoria and South Australia, and will prove of immense good to both Colonies. ADELAIDE, Oct. 20. Wheat is quoted at Gs, nominal market dull. Flour has declined 15s per ton ; town brands now quoted at t'l3 10s to £l3 15s ; and country brands, £l2 10s to £l2 15s. There is iittle business doing. Freights for wool to the United Kingdom : scoured, ; greasy, |d per pound.
