WELLINGTON, This Day. A fatal accident occurred on Saturday to a lad named Frederick Williams, aged 14, who was proceeding to his home at Newtown by the train at 8 o’clock in the evening. When near St. Mark’s Church, in Sussex Square, he, by a jerk of tho train, was thrown off the first carriage and the wheels of the second carriage passed over him. He was convoyed to the hospital but died shortly afterbeing admitted. No blame is attached to the tram officials. An inquest will be held.
