CORRESPONDENCE.
[We do not hold ourselves responsible for the opinionexpressed by our correspondents]. :o: GOVERNMENT LIFE INSURANCE. TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I am very glad indeed to see that the new rules relative to the Government Life Insurance have been brought into operation in order that the benefit of a life insurance may be within the reach of all. In this Government Insurance the benefits extend in the same manner to the poor as well as the rich, and I for one am heartily glad to see that the Government have thought it advisable to send an agent to Gisborne in order to look after this most important question. I would strongly advise those of my fellow townsmen to take out their insurance papers at once, as they will then have an absolute security from loss in the above society. Hoping my advice may be of some avail.—l am &c., An Insurer.
