This Day [Before M. Price, Esq., R.M.] LUNACY FROM DRINK. An unfortunate man was brought up on remand to be discharged. Dr Pollen was called, and stated that lie had had the accused under his medical treatment suffering from delirium tremens ; that the accused was now convalescent, and quite fit to be at large. His Worship, after reading the accused a severe lecture on the evil effects of drunkenness, discharged him. BREACH OF THE PEACE. Two young men were charged with a breach of the peace on the 24th instant. The charge was admitted, and His Worship fined them 40s. each, with costs of Court. The witnesses declined to take any expenses.
