Sib, —At present there are attending Mr Morgans school (public school) some forty Maori;children of both texes well-dressed and dean; and with whose conduct and behaviour the master has no fault to find. The child-on are belonging mostly to well to do Natives living in tha town, and opposite at Kaiti. Large salaries are voted anuually to a staff, of teachers who reside near the Maori kaingas, who in not one instance have to many on their roll as Mr Morgan has on his. Should not an extra fee be allowed here to Mr Morgan and his assistants.—l am &a., ONE iNTEBBSTXb.
