(BY CABLE. —REUTER’S SPECIAL). SYDNEY, September 1. New Zealand wheat filling Id, and now quoted at 5s 2d ; New Zealand oats have declined to 3s 3d, and maize to 9s. ADELAIDE, Sept. 1. Wheat firm and unchanged at 7s. Town flour per ton, £l5. Country brands, £l5. LONDON, Sept. 1. Consols advanoed to 100£ ; bank rate of discount remains at 4 per cent., and market rate at 5jJ. The total reserve in notes and bullion in the Bank of England remains at £11,125,000. New Zealand’s securities, Colonial breadstuffs, and tallow, with quotable change. At to-day’s Wool auction 9,700 bales were offered. The tone of the market was firm. 9,200 bales have been withdrawn from sale since the opening of the series.
